Professional Year Program (PYP)

A Professional Year Program (PYP) is a structured professional development program combining formal learning and workplace experience for international students who have graduated from a university in Australia. This job-readiness program bridges the gap between full-time study and professional employment in Australia.

The PYP enhances the capabilities of Engineering, IT, and Accounting aspirants, enabling them to find employment that matches their abilities. These programs are designed to help participants become proficient in their skills before entering the workforce, nurturing them for successful careers in reputable organizations across Australia.

Completing a Professional Year has several benefits:

  • Gain an additional five points towards your Australia Immigration application.

Eligibility for a Professional Year Program
To be eligible, you must have completed a degree in accounting, computer science, engineering, or a closely related field in Australia. Additionally, you must hold a Skilled – Graduate (Temporary) Visa (Subclass 485), which allows you to remain in Australia for 18 months after completing your degree.

    • Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand Skilled Migration Internship Program: Accounting

    • Engineers Australia Professional Year Program
